Chad's Full Story

Chad is blessed to be married to his high school sweetheart, Jessie Sievers. Jessie and Chad have a 17-year-old daughter Jaci, and twin 11-year-old boys, Samuel, and Titus. Chad considers his relationship with Jesus Christ to be his greatest blessing. Beyond his faith walk, Chad views life as being all about his family and maximizing the journey with his wife and three children. Enjoying the great outdoors, attending sporting events, traveling the world, and coaching youth in the Omaha area, are the primary passions in Chad’s life.

Chad and Jessie are members and volunteers at Love Church and consider themselves very fortunate to be part of a great church family. Love Church has provided their family a phenomenal opportunity to grow in their walk with Christ, and more specifically they have fallen in love with the daily discipline of reading the word and attending Small Group Bible Studies. Additionally, they are thankful for the commitment that Love Church makes to the youth in the church, through programs like REV and the Children’s ministry on Sundays. Jessie is also a board member, on behalf of Love Church, for COPE Ministries. COPE serves the less fortunate in the Elkhorn, DC West, and Bennington school districts.

When asked “Why did you get involved with the Heartland Chapter of Kids Against Hunger?”, Chad responded: God blessed both my wife and me at a young age with a desire to help the less fortunate. Jess and I were extremely fortunate to grow up in strong, financially stable homes, where the question of where our next meal would come from simply didn’t exist. We have the heart to serve others who are in less fortunate circumstances, maximizing the stewardship of the time/talent/resources that God has entrusted to us, with the ultimate goal of providing hope and encouragement for others to know that God loves them and has a great plan for their life. Additionally, when Jake approached me about this opportunity, I could feel his passion for helping God’s children in need, and I immediately had a strong conviction that God was calling him into this ministry opportunity. As a friend and bible study partner of Jakes, I feel honored to play a small role in helping him make his dream become a reality.
