Jason said, “The opportunity to volunteer and serve as a director for Heartland Kids Against Hunger was something that I simply could not pass up.” The mission of “Serving the Least” and helping others experience God in their lives is all-encompassing. These instances of God meeting others 'right where they are at' often originate in simple events such as those hosted by this organization.
Jason grew up on a farm near Pender, Nebraska, thus developing a strong work ethic at a very early age – this advantage continues to benefit many of his family, friends, and businesses that he lovingly represents. He is a graduate of Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, along with a B.S. in Economics.
In addition to being a loving and involved husband and parent, Jason also has a gift for mentoring and developing Christian leaders in the workplace. Jason followed this calling by helping create and launch Love in the Marketplace in early 2021. He currently assists business leaders across the city with implementing effective Biblical strategies that are being modeled by respective managers in a variety of fields. In the past, Jason has also served on the Board of Directors for Mentors of Bethany in America, Midland University Booster Club, Visiting Nurses Association of the Midlands, Easter Seals Nebraska, and BKR International.
